Thank you so much for your amazing work catering my wedding!  You and your team did a fabulous job and were the talk of the town.  Everyone loved the meal, especially the appetizers.  In addition, I really appreciate you coming up to us and asking if we needed anything (drinks, etc) and telling us to let you know if we wanted anything else.  It was nice to know you were there keeping an eye out for us. 

Thank you also for the "goodie bag" of champagne, extra food, and flowers as our going away gift.  Although we didnt eat any of it until the next day, it was still appreciated and was eatten very quickly!  We still have your baskets and would like to come in for dinner one day and bring your baskets.  We will let you know when we plan to do that. 

Thanks again for everything.  You made it all run so smoothly, it was a wonderful experience.

I wanted to sincerely thank you for making our wedding an unforgettable and truly amazing event. The food on every level, for every course, was divine. We keep hearing from friends and family members that the food was “the best food I’ve ever eaten at a wedding” or “that was the most incredible salmon.” My uncle even told me that he would “like to take a bath in the eggplant dip.” Needless to say, the guests were happy.

For me, personally, the level of service and attention to detail were unmatched. Michel, you are a lucky owner and manager to have an employee like Renee Hirsh. She is incredibly organized, flexible when dealing with stressed out people, and I would say quite stoic in the arrival of unexpected issues (like the San Diego Police Department). As a bride planning for a destination wedding from a different city, she truly put me at ease. The rest of your bar, wait and cooking staff were equally pleasant and wonderful to work with.

We would gladly recommend your services to any couple planning a wedding or other event. No matter the cause of celebration, the food, the service and the inherent value in knowing that everything will be taken care of down to the last detail, make working with The French Gourmet the easiest decision a person will ever make.

Hi Renee,

I just wanted to thank you again for all of your hard work, as well as your team's hard work, for Cara and Jeff's wedding on Saturday!!!  They gave me a call from the airport on Sunday night before they left for their honeymoon and thanked us all again for the hard work and efforts. They really enjoyed themseleves, as did their families!

We're glad we had a chance to taste your food, too! :) We tried everything that was served that night and the food was amazing. Everyone has been raving about it nonstop and I thought the bouillabaisse was especially inspired. Many, many thanks for a perfect meal, as the food was paramount to our wedding. From the bouillabaisse to all of the toppings for the ice cream, every touch was perfect and beautifully executed.

You, Renee, and your awesome team did a fantastic job and we can't be more appreciative. The servers are extremely kind and attentive and Renee went above the call of duty by staying to the very end of breakdown, long after TFG was packed up. I wish we had a chance to say hi to you and I'm sorry we didn't, but Dan's cousins said they chatted with you and told us how excited you were about the bouillabaisse. Hearing that made us really excited about it and it (and everything else) far surpassed our expectations.

We are back from our honeymoon and the first thing I wanted to do upon my return was thank you for the exquisite job The French Gourmet did at our wedding. I didn’t realize what an important role you play until it was show time; at that point I felt I made the best decision possible. You not only made yourself flexible to my demands but you also 'catered' to my every need. There was such fluidity and cohesion among your staff, making the most important day of my life a spectacular event. The feedback I have received from all the family and friends that attended has been overwhelmingly positive.

The food was amazing, every bit. From the hors d’oeuvres to the wedding cake, all of it was delectable. More often than not, the bride doesn’t have time to eat at the reception with all the anxiety, but let me tell you I ate everything on my plate (and then some!). In the midst of all the commotion during dinner we had members of your staff checking in on us the entire night to make sure we were taken care of. To me, this spoke volumes about the etiquette and leadership of your staff; it really is all the little details that count in the overall picture. It sounds so cliché, but you made me feel like a bride, with nothing but time to let go and enjoy myself. I will recommend The French Gourmet for any event, and I look forward to our next event so we can have you do it all over again.
