We thank you and your staff for the wonderful job they did in making C & J’s reception a memorable event. Many of my guests commented on the fun personalities of the bartenders and the personable way that the waiters interacted with them. There was very high praise for the food, of course, and several people mentioned that the cake was the best wedding cake they had ever tasted. I hope so. The cake service went so quickly that neither Gordy nor I got a piece because we were starting off the dancing. Rest assured that we will come back and order a small fondant-covered pralinsko cake for another occasion. The unexpected “picnic” basket for the bride and groom was much appreciated at 3 a.m. when they returned to their condo after partying in La Jolla with their friends. The two of them finally got a few quiet moments together to eat and to watch the early morning lights over the bay and downtown.
You, Edith, made me feel so comfortable that the arrangements were in your reliable hands. I never for a moment had to worry about any problems. I really appreciate your professionalism, especially at a time that must have been difficult for your team. It is exactly that professionalism that will carry you all forward. On a personal note, Gordy loves your accent; it reminds him of his mother’s.
I acknowledged The French Gourmet in my wedding programs in the hopes that my guests will consider you for future weddings and events. I know that we will.

To say thank you just would never be enough. Your personal addition to the annual Appreciation Dinner is the single most important facet of the event. The folks who attend never cease to praise and complement you and your staff not just for the wonderful food but for the quality and kind of service that we all receive. I would like to ask how I (and even more so, we the folks at OMC) can be a larger part of helping you not just for the growth of your business but for other aspects of what you face everyday at the French Gourmet. As you say, we are parishioners together and that means we are family to each other. Let me know how we can be a bigger part of this.
I talked to Monsignor this morning and he was so very happy with the outcomes of the event. You were a big part of that pleasant experience.
