Dear French Gourmet,

I would like to thank you and your company for the fabulous job you did for my daughter’s wedding. The food and service were outstanding. I felt like one of the guests rather than a hostess! Although it was a small wedding, we had guests from Belgrade, Athens, London, Edinburgh, not to mention Boston, San Francisco, Portland, and Houston. There really aren’t enough words to express our thanks for making our wedding day so incredibly special. We are still in awe of how magical it felt because every last detail was completely taken care of. So many of our guests have commented on how impressed they were with The French Gourmet: from the staff, to the presentation, and especially the meal. We’ve heard that it was the best food they have had at a wedding, and that the cake was so beautifully and uniquely done.

Peter and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of your services and your staff treated us like royalty! Lilian, as you know, did an exceptional job. And we so appreciated the basket of food that was made up for us – just what we needed for after the reception! The food was delicious, the wine was of high quality, the cake was exactly what I had envisioned, the cocktail hour was perfect, and all of your hard work amazes us!

Each year you cater our client party. Without fail, you exceed our expectations, not an easy achievement given our exacting standards!

We tell you to mix it up. You offer authentic Spanish appetizers. Sauces that would put an upscale Thai restaurant to shame. Oh-so-decadent desserts.

We ask for unusual presentations. You deliver grilled, while-you-watch shish kabobs. Pulled pork with cornbread and condiments, in of all things, a martini glass. Delicacies in Chinese take-out cartons complete with chop sticks.

Your employees are top notch, friendly, helpful, and responsive. Our clients gush and swoon over it all.

What you have accomplished would be difficult enough for a small dinner party, let alone a party of over 1,000. We look forward to many more years of the same.

Congratulations for not only providing us with exquisite gastronomic delights and all our other dining needs for our 25th Anniversary Gala, but also for providing an exemplary crew to staff our event.

They were all so accommodating and friendly! During the “last minute scramble” we really appreciated the assistance from your staff in finalizing the loose ends that weren’t really their job, per se.

The breakdown and clean up was very efficient as well. In fact they left the spaces cleaner than they were found..

Kim Bauer was exceptional as the lead. She was professional, calm, helpful, and handled everything with such grace! Gus Kearney knew exactly what he was doing as bartender and had everything set up efficiently as well as beautifully. He also went the extra mile and creatively wrote a message for our retiree on the whiteboard. Irma Montegna did an amazing job getting the food ready and making sure it was delicious as well as gorgeous. Jen Aiello and Dierdre Sheridan were hardworking… and sweet… as they toted everything back and forth. They were both very helpful and professional. And Corey Hughes not only performed his regular duties setting up and arranging, but he also took great care that everything looked perfect! They all worked together as a well-trained, well-prepared team.

Thank you for your follow up call on Wednesday regarding the event we had at Orfila Winery on the evening of March 14th.

Contracting with The French Gourmet was, as I had hoped, the right decision (again). From the initial contact, your attentive “checking in” phone calls, your diligent and courteous staff, and to the deliciously prepared meal, your firm exceeded my expectations.

The guests were very impressed (several wanted your contact information for their future events), but most importantly to the VP of Sales, and owner of the The Ken Blanchard Companies, Debbie Blanchard, was especially pleased. Thank you for making me look good.

Special appreciation goes to the delightful Lilian Gaffney. When I met with her, she advised that one of the goals of The French Gourmet was to “let the host enjoy the event as much as the guests.” I was skeptical that could happen, but she fulfilled her promise. The PRA International event on the 15th was wonderful. I received many compliments, but one in particular from one of the executives who said, “This is what a mixer should be.” The food was great, the bar was a big hit, and the weather could not have been better - a wonderful Southern California evening out on the deck of the Midway. I believe there will be many more executive functions coming to the West Coast.

Your staff was professional and efficient from beginning to end. Thank you for your expertise in the initial planning. You were right on the money.

PRA will definitely be a repeat customer!
